The Trumbull County Fair is celebrating the Year of the Farmer during the six day run which begins on Tuesday. The annual event showcases the agricultural life and business from the region.

The games, contests, rides, music and fun will be highlighted by the grandstand shows which include truck and tractor pulls, car racing, bull riding, and a fireworks display at the conclusion of the fair Sunday night.

Fairgoers venturing near the grandstand can watch the R&S chainsaw woodcarving exhibit, and performances by the Marvelous Mutts agility dog show.

Admission is $8.00 for the general public, and $4.00 for senior citizens. Military veterans will be admitted free on Tuesday. Children up to 24 months old are admitted free.
