HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board says full bottles of wine spontaneously exploded in several of its retail stores.

The agency says consumers who bought 750-ml bottles of Indigenous Selections Prosecco Brut 2013 should throw them out immediately.

The wine was sold for $12.99 in about 180 stores starting in early June. It's since been removed from store shelves. The liquor control board is working with the vendor to determine the cause of the exploding bottles.

Chairman Joseph E. Brion says the agency has not received any reports from consumers whose bottles exploded.

He says consumers will be eligible for refunds.
