AKRON, Ohio - A Hubbard man tells Akron police that he was lured to their city by a classified ad on the Craigslist website, then robbed at gunpoint.

According to the police report, 41-year-old Troy Whetstone responded to the ad offering gold jewelry for sale.  Whetstone tells police he drove to Akron and called the person who placed the advertisement, who directed him to the parking lot of Chuck's Steakhouse at 456 East South Street.

The report says that the suspect got into the victim's car and held a 9 mm handgun to Whetstone's head.  The suspect stole $200 cash from Whetstone, then fled on foot.

The investigation led police to a man they say is a known drug user.  30-year-old Zachary Christopher of Windham, Ohio has been charged with aggravated robbery.
