Seth tells Ellen that he is going to miss the rush of SNL, but is ready to take on his new role.
Then…. "The Biggest Loser" host and "Award-winning Sami Brady on 'Days of Our Lives,'" Alison Sweeney, announces exclusively to Ellen that she is leaving "Days of Our Lives" at the end of this season.
Alison tells Ellen that this was a very tough decision and that she is torn about leaving the show after 21 years.
She has been working both shows for the past 7 years and is ready to spend a little more time with her kids who are now 9 and 5, so it's time to slow down, spend more quality time with them and pursue more of her personal interests such as writing.
"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" airs weekdays at 5 p.m. on 21 WFMJ.
