LISBON, Ohio - The attorney for a Poland man who was convicted in connection with a deadly crash is asking a judge to reinstate his commercial driver's license.

This past May, Michael Bair as convicted of vehicular manslaughter for the death of David Mayfield of East Liverpool when Bair's dump truck flipped over onto Mayfield's pickup truck on State Route 7 in March of 2012.

Bair was sentenced to 90 days in jail. Municipal Judge Mark Frost suspended half of that sentence, but suspended Bair's commercial driving license for two years.

According to court records, Bair's attorney has filed a motion to terminate that license suspension.

Judge Frost, noting that Bair has followed the terms of his probation, has given both sides in the case thirty days to file responses before he renders a decision.
