YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport just announced it's non-stop service to Punta Gorda, Florida.

Now, the Director of Aviation reveals there's been talks about a number of other possible destinations.

Vacation spots like Atlantic City, Las Vegas and Fort Lauderdale are at the top of the list of places to consider.

The Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport is also discussing the possibility of bringing back daily flights.

"We need people flying into this community to help stimulate the economy. That's what daily flights will do. We've had conversations going on for at least the last two years with up to three or four network carriers for flights connecting hub airports such as Chicago and Atlanta," says Director of Aviation Daniel Dickten.

Dickten says the airlines have a lot to consider before committing to bringing service to any airport, so it's all about being patient.
