YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Students who graduate from area high schools with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher may attend Eastern Gateway Community College for free in the fall.

Officials say all students from Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties can qualify.

Administrators and students were in attendance at Monday's news conference where the announcement was made.

Recently, EGCC announced that it was opening its doors and inviting the community to tour its Valley Center before the fall school year begins. The events will take place every Monday in August from 5-8 p.m.
