SHARON, Penn. - A man was rushed to this hospital early this morning after a shooting in Sharon.

According to police, the victim was struck by gunfire along Second Avenue.

The man was wounded in the groin and leg. A woman was also assaulted during the incident.

Authorities say the man's injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

Police believe the man was shot during an attempted robbery.

Authorities are seeking a suspect in the case.
