Former YSU RB Jermaine Cook released from the Browns

BEREA, Ohio - Former Youngstown State running back Jermaine Cook has been released from the Cleveland Browns after they were awarded another running back off waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Cook participated in rookie minicamp a couple of weeks ago, and told 21 Sports Director at the time that he felt really good.

It was a long shot for Cook to make the club, but at least with Tuesday's release he'll hopefully have another chance to sign with another team.
