CAMPBELL, Ohio - Campbell police say they have no suspect or motive in Wednesday night's murder in the Kirwan Homes Development.
Police were called to the corner of Murray and Jackson Streets after a shirtless man from the neighborhood, bleeding from gunshot wounds, barged into a home and collapsed on the floor.
The victim, 47-year-old James A. Hills, Sr. was taken to Saint Elizabeth Medical Center where he died.
"We do have reports that somebody heard arguing in the area at the time, but that's really as much as we have. It's very preliminary at this point," said Sgt. John Rusnak with the Campbell Police Department.
In 1992 the victim was sentenced to prison for involuntary manslaughter.
This is the first homicide in Campbell since 2010.
