UPDATED: Man accused of pushing Columbiana County Sheriff in custody

COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - A man who police say pushed the Columbiana County sheriff to the ground is now in police custody.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - A man who police say pushed the Columbiana County sheriff to the ground is now in police custody.

Police say Lucas Sims turned himself in on Friday.

Investigators say Sims pushed Sheriff Ray Stone to the ground Thursday as he and other deputies were attempting to arrest him in Wellsville.

Sims was originally charged with failing to pay child support but will now face additional charges.
