UPDATED: Crash in Mercer County sends 4 to the hospital

SANDY LAKE, Pennsylvania - Three people were taken to the hospital following a head-on crash on Friday in Mercer County.

SANDY LAKE, Pennsylvania - Three people were taken to the hospital following a head-on crash on Friday in Mercer County.

The crash happened in Sandy Lake Boro on State Route 173 when a car being driven by a juvenile tried turning left onto Creek Road and hit another vehicle head on.

Angelique Jones and Austin Luchansky were not wearing seat belts and suffered moderate injuries. They were taken to the hospital.

The juvenile driving the other vehicle did not suffer any injuries. But a juvenile passenger did and was taken to the hospital as well.

The juvenile driving the first car was charged in the crash.
