AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - If you're driving through Austintown, you may notice the police department "Cruze"ing the streets in a new car.

On Thursday, the folks at Greenwood Chevrolet handed over the keys to a new Chevy Cruze. The car will be used for the township's DARE program.

"All the lessons that I've taught them in the classroom, it will be a reminder of being safe, staying out of trouble, being drug free, avoiding violence, all of those things that our curriculum is about," said Austintown Township Police DARE Officer Jeffrey Toth.

This is the second DARE car Greenwood Chevrolet has donated to the department since 2001.
