OREGGONIA, Ohio - It's fast, furious and fun. You'd know that if you ever tried ziplining.

Located Halfway between Columbus and Cincinnati in Oregonia, Ohio is Ozone Zipline Adventures an educational eco-adventure.

It's a place where you can take flight across more than two miles of cables connected high up in the tree canopy, some at more than 200 feet off the ground.

But it's easier and safer than you think. Although you're hands free, you are always connected.

"We've had guests as young as 10-years-old to 85-year-olds. Our guides connect you, you step off the platform, you zip along. You don't have to do anything else. You'll come in to the landing platform and then our guides tell you a little bit about the area then they transfer you to another line and you transfer from line to line," said Jeff Merhige from Ozone Zipline Adventures.

Each zipliner makes it to the start of each starting off point either by ziplining to it or by taking a series of sky bridges connected to platforms high up in the canopy and they all lead to the final zipline. It's really something else. As a matter of fact, it's one of the most unique in the nation.

"It's a 1,500 foot line 210 feet above the river and you land over at fort ancient. To our knowledge it's one of the only ziplines to cross a scenic river," Merhige said.

"99.9% of people that come out here, even if they do have a fear of heights, once they've done that first zipline they realize how secure the equipment is, they realize how secure the harness is, and how safe everything is. Once they've done that first one, they're ready to go and they are going to go and enjoy the rest of the tour and by the time they come off they have a big smile on their face," said Chris Addison from Ozone Zipline Adventures.

"It was awesome. It's not that scary. It's exciting. It's a lot of fun. It's safe; they pay a lot of attention to safety. You're double clicked all the time. I would say definitely give it a shot," said Tom McLaughlin who was visiting from Florida.

There are 11 different ziplines at Ozone Zipline Adventures. If you were to do all of them, it would take over five hours. But smaller tours are available and there are even some full moon zipping tours.

A seven line tour starts at $75 dollars a person.
