UNION TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania - One person is dead and two others found themselves trapped in an early Friday morning car accident.
Police say a car ran into a tree on Old Youngstown Road near the New Castle airport around 2:30 a.m.
The driver, a 30-year-old man, was pinned between the car and the tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two women were also in the car. One was ejected and the other was trapped. They were both taken by helicopter to the hospital.
No word yet on the condition of the survivors. Their names have not been released.
Union Township police are continuing the investigation.
