Niles has a new police chief

NILES, Ohio – The city of Niles has a new police chief.

NILES, Ohio – The city of Niles has a new police chief.

Rob Hinton was sworn in on Wednesday night. He replaces Bruce Simeone who retired in June after 40 years of service.

Hinton was hired as a patrolman in 1983 and worked his way up to captain in 2000.
