YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A crime scene investigation unit is questioning a suspect after a shooting on Youngstown's west side.

Reports came in around 4:00 p.m. Thursday, that a female had been shot in the neck at an apartment on Tyrell Avenue just off Salt Springs Road.

Ambulance crews worked to stabilize the victim before taking her to the hospital where she is in critical condition.

There's no word yet on her name or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
