COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - Ohio's Assistant Secretary of State paid a visit to a poll workers' training session in Columbiana County Tuesday.
Mike Rankin expects the numbers of volunteer poll workers may be on the decline as the popularity of early and absentee voting continues to grow in Ohio.
"In fact over the next ten years we'll probably see a good one-third plus voting either by early vote or by mail," says Rankin.
Rankin feels voter turn-out in this primary election will be driven mostly by races and money issues on local ballots.
