Six arrested in Mineral Ridge drug sweep

MINERAL RIDGE, Ohio- The United States Marshalls and two police departments arrested six people in a drug sweep in Mineral Ridge on Tuesday.

According to a release, the raid occurred at the Forest Ridge Apartment complex, following a six-month investigation by the marshalls and the narcotics units from the Weathersfield and Niles police departments.

Jamie Bott, 28, Cheryl Bott, 57, and Dean Hites, 23,  are all charged with drug trafficking following the raid.

Randy L. Hites, 28, is charged with possession of drug abuse instruments

Jason Armeni, 24,  is charged with criminal trespassing and Bryan Dotson, 26, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for criminal trespassing.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing and more arrests are pending.
