Columbiana county has a new place where residents can get lost in family entertainment.

Columbiana MazeCraze operated by Mike and Cindy Bacon of New Springfield, will be open weekends beginning September 11 through November 1.

The mazes take between an hour and a half to three hours to complete and span a total of five miles.

The mazes were designed by Shawn Stolworthy of Mazeplay, a company based out of Firth, Idaho.

There are a total of three mazes, including one designed for very young children.

All of the mazes have checkpoints, and one includes maze Sudoku as well.

Their  hours are Friday 5pm-10pm, Saturday 10am-10pm, Sunday 11am-7pm, as well as Tuesday and Wednesday 5pm-9pm for groups by appointment. 

Admission is $8 for ages 12 & over, $6 for children ages 5 to 11, ages 4 and under are free, $6 Senior Citizens 65 and over, also any military personnel with an ID is free. 

Group rates are available for 15 or more people.
