Warren man sentenced for shooting death, second suspect to go on trial
The charges stem from the death of 29-year-old Kardell Lowery who was shot several times at an apartment on the 1300 Block of Fifth Street SW in July of 2024.

One of two suspects charged in connection with a deadly shooting in Warren has been convicted and sentenced.
Michael Williamson, 29, was sentenced to 20-to-25 years in prison Monday after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery.
Williamson and Tyree Brown, also 29, were indicted on charges of aggravated murder, burglary, and a weapons violation.
The charges stem from the death of 29-year-old Kardell Lowery who was shot several times at an apartment on the 1300 Block of Fifth Street SW in July of 2024.
Jury selection in the Brown trial is scheduled to begin next Tuesday.
Both men have been held in the county jail since their arrests late last year.
