Police serve search warrant at Sharon home
There was a heavy police presence at a home in Sharon Thursday night.
Sharon Police Chief Edward Stabile told 21 News the Sharon Police Department and the Mercer County Critical Incident Response Team were conducting a search warrant at a home near the intersection of East Budd Street and Cedar Avenue.
Stabile could not disclose who or what officers were searching for, but said the search warrant was related to an "ongoing criminal investigation."
Our 21 News crew at the scene saw officers walking in and out of the home. Officers were carrying bags out of the house.
At one point, our crew spotted a man being escorted out of the house by police. It is unclear if this man is in police custody or charged with any crimes at this time.
