Lake effect snow is expected to cover much of the Valley Saturday, with the highest snow totals most likely to occur in Trumbull County. 

The advisory runs until 10 p.m. Saturday.

According to StormTracker 21 Chief Meteorologist Eric Wilhelm, accumulations of 3-6 inches will be common in Trumbull County, while 1-3 inches can be expected in much of the rest of the WFMJ viewing area. 

Meteorologists recommend that anyone travelling during this advisory slows down and uses caution. The Ohio Department of Transportation also strongly encourage drivers to postpone unnecessary travel and heed all travel restrictions.
