Fire crews from both sides of the state line braved Tuesday morning's wintery weather conditions and slippery roads to battle flames that broke out in a Lawrence County home.

Dispatchers got a call shortly after 6 a.m. that fire had spread throughout a home on Butch Circle in Mahoning Township.

Local firefighters were joined by those from surrounding fire departments, including from Mahoning County.

No one was living at the home, which is a total loss.

Investigators are still looking for the cause of the fire.
