The Ohio Fire Marshal and Trumbull County Coroner are investigating after the bodies of two people were found in a burning home in Warren Township.

Firefighters who were dispatched to the 800 block of Miller Street NW shortly after 3:30 a.m. Sunday found flames pouring from the roof of the house.

Neighbors reported that two people may have still been in the home.  However, the fire had damaged the home’s floors and collapsed the roof, preventing firefighters from entering safely.

Firefighters were also called from Lordstown, Champion, and Newton Falls.

The house, declared a total loss, has now been torn down.

Miller Street was closed in the area until late Saturday morning.

The names of the two adults who died in the fire have not yet been released.

Investigators are still looking for what caused the fire.
