The Mahoning County Coroner has released the identity of a deceased body that was found near Broad Street Monday evening.

According to a press release from the Coroner's Office, the male was identified as 46-year-old Edward Such III. 

According to a police report, Such's body was found near Broad Street between the Mahoning River and the railroad tracks. 

Police would not give any further information on the case, but did confirm with 21 News that the body has been found and recovered and that this is an active investigation.

At this time, it is unclear what led up to the death or if any foul play is suspected.
