Bazetta man accused of threatening to blow up health insurer pleads guilty
A Bazetta Township man arrested for allegedly sending a letter threatening to blow up the headquarters of his health insurance provider for failing to pay a claim is expected to plead guilty on Tuesday.

Ronald Ellis, 65, appeared in U.S. District Court Tuesday afternoon, entering a guilty plea to a charge of mailing threatening communications.
Ellis is scheduled for sentencing on December 10.
The Mahoning Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Ellis at his Ivy Hill Circle condominium in June.
According to an FBI investigator, Ellis sent a letter to the United Health Care Grievance Department in California, threatening if they didn't pay his claim he will blow up their corporate headquarters and reduce it to rubble.
The letter appealing his denial of coverage said that Ellis is trying to save his remaining teeth with partial dentures.
United Health Care's Corporate Security Department forwarded the letter to the FBI.
A Criminal Complaint which accuses Ellis of mailing threatening communications is accompanied by an affidavit that includes a text of the letter.

Local charges of aggravated menacing and inducing panic filed by Bazetta Township Police were dismissed after federal authorities charged Ellis.
