Mahoning County FEMA assistance deadline set for Tuesday
The deadline is around the corner for FEMA assistance for those who were affected by the Memorial Day weekend storms.

The deadline is approaching for those seeking FEMA assistance because they were affected by the Memorial Day weekend storms.
The deadline is set for September 3.
Those who sustained losses during the Memorial Day weekend tornadoes and storms, and live in Mahoning County are still eligible to seek assistance from FEMA.
Severe flooding ripped through parts of the valley on Memorial Day Weekend flooding different homes and businesses.
Issues arose after some portions of the Valley saw more than an inch of rain in the span of just a few hours during Memorial Day Weekend.
In addition to heavy rain, the storm brought wind gusts, lightning and golf-ball-sized hail in some areas.

Monday through Sunday. Multilingual operators are on duty. The Helpline will be
closed on September 2.
