Hunters can win special hunting lottery at Mosquito Lake Park

Valley hunters will have a chance to reduce the raccoon and squirrel population at Mosquito Lake State Park during hunting season.
A total of two participants will be drawn for raccoon, and two participants will be drawn for squirrel on October 9.
Park visitors have complained about a large concentration of raccoons and squirrels that have negatively affected the campground.
Those who are interested need to mail a postcard at 1439 State Route 305, Courtland, OH 44410.
The postcard must include the hunter's name, address, phone number, and indicate the species they wish to hunt at the park. All entries must be postmarked by October 7.
Entries will be drawn on October 9 at the park office.
All of those who enter the drawing must not have any previous wildlife violations and must hold a current hunting license.
