Boardman police arrested a man in connection to a robbery that took place at Subway on Market Street.

Boardman police arrested a man in connection to a robbery that took place at Subway on Market Street.
Twenty-six-year-old Jonathan Stevens, of Youngstown, was picked up by Boardman police on an arrest warrant after allegedly robbing a Subway.
On July 10, police were called to Subway on the 5200 block of Market Street for an armed robbery.
Witnesses say that Stevens walked into the store and went to the restroom when he came out his face was covered with a purple bandana, and he was carrying a large knife.
According to the police report, Stevens began walking towards the cash register and said: "give me all the money."
Authorities say that while Stevens was holding the large knife, he reached into the cash register and stole about $300. Stevens also allegedly made off with a tan metal cash box that contained another $300 in it.
The incident was captured on Subway's surveillance cameras.
Stevens is charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
