Both Columbiana Jail escapees back in police custody

One of two inmates who escaped from the Columbiana County Jail on Sunday is back in custody.

Both inmates who escaped from the Columbiana County Jail on Sunday are back in police custody.

Police have arrested 28-year-old Michael Hover, Jr, and Anthony Wagoner after they escaped from the Columbiana County Jail on Sunday.

East Liverpool Police, a St Clair K9 Officer, and sheriffs deputies captured Anthony Wagoner Tuesday morning.

Police say they chased Wagoner on foot and eventually used a taser to subdue him.

Sheriff Ray Stone tells 21 News that Wagoner and 28-year-old Michael Hover, Jr. could not be found at the jail Monday morning.

Stone says they have video of the men leaving the jail after breaking a bathroom window and cutting a fence to escape.
