A Warren man who was the target of a manhunt on Tuesday is now in jail facing a new charge.

Acting on a tip, Warren police found 32-year-old Jesse Adams at Garden Street and Robert Avenue NW in the city on Tuesday night.

Officials at NEOCAP, The North East Ohio Community Alternative Program, said Adams was being driven to an appointment Tuesday morning when he got out of the vehicle near Highland Avenue and ran away.

Adams is now booked into the Trumbull County Jail on a charge of escape.

Records show Adams has prior arrests for domestic violence and drug possession.
