A Warren woman is facing new charges Thursday after being accused of stealing thousands of dollars from an ATM in Boardman.

Twenty-three-year-old Danielle Defalco of Hubbard was indicted on one charge of grand theft after police say $14,000 in cash went missing from an ATM at the Huntington Bank branch inside the Giant Eagle on Boardman-Canfield Road.

According to a police report, the money was taken beginning November 28th through January 2nd.

The report says officers were contacted by a security investigator from Huntington National Bank's corporate office.

According to the investigator, the missing money was first noticed during an examination of the general ledger for the machine.

Police say the investigator went through the ledger and determined that Defalco was present during ledger settlements that involved cash.

In one instance, police say Defalco was caught on camera taking $6,000 in cash from the ATM. She allegedly processed the transaction as an "emergency cash decrease" but never put the money back into the vault.

At this point, Defalco has not been booked in the county jail.
