Truck goes up in smoke in Southington
A driver jumped out of his Chevy flatbed dually hopped out of his truck just in time to watch it go up in flames along a dark Trumbull County Road late Monday.

A driver jumped out of his Chevy flatbed dually hopped out of his truck just in time to watch it go up in flames along a dark Trumbull County Road late Monday.
The driver told dispatchers he was driving along Painesville Warren State Rd. NW at around 9 pm when the engine started smoking.
He got out as flames began pouring from the hood and spread to the rest of the truck.
Firefighters from Southington and Farmington were called to put out the fire.
