The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a car fire that backed up traffic on State Route 5 in Champion Township.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a car fire that backed up traffic on State Route 5 in Champion Township.
Troopers say the fire was reported at 7:45 am Wednesday on the eastbound lane of Route 5, just east of Route 45.
Dispatchers were told that the car was fully involved in flames, but everyone got out safely.
The fire has since been extinguished.
