Mercy Health has announced Kathleen Harley as the new president of St. Elizabeth Youngstown campus. 

Harley is a Valley native who graduated of the Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, earned her BSN at Pennsylvania State University and completed her MBA at Youngstown State University. 

"It's great to be back home," said Harley. "Serving my hometown in this capacity is not only an honor but a privilege. This community has given so much to me and now, I want to ensure the health and well-being of those who call the Valley home," she added.

Harley began her career as an operating room nurse and then was promoted to an Operating Room Manager, Director of Surgical Services and most recently the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Surgical and Procedural Services at Heritage Valley Health System.
