Man charged in Howland Christmas shooting
A little bit after 2 am on Christmas morning there was a shooting in Howland that left one hospitalized.
Shortly after 2 a.m. Christmas morning, there was a shooting in Howland that left one man hospitalized and another in the Trumbull County Jail.
The alleged shooter, 40-year-old Peter Sfikas, now faces charges of felonious assault.
According to the 911 dispatch call, there was a fight between two males on the 1000 block of Rosewood Dr. in Howland Township.
Police said they were told Sfikas went to the home to confront his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.
One male was shot in the hand and it was unknown who shot the gun during the argument.
The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital.
The condition of the victim is still unknown.
Police are still investigating the shooting.
