Youngstown fire officials are trying to determine what caused a house to go up in flames early this morning.

At about 1:15 a.m., a pillar of fire and smoke could be seen shooting into the sky on Youngstown's lower south side.

When fire crews arrived, they found the house in the 1000 block of Ridge Avenue completely consumed by flames.

While investigators are still trying to figure out what caused this huge blaze and if anyone owned the house, neighbors tell 21 News that there is normally a white pickup truck parked outside.

This is a developing story.
