The Farrell Steelers are state champions in football for the third time in school history.

The Steelers scored 55 straight points behind Christian Lewis, who scored five touchdowns, and beat Lackawanna Trail 55-20  in the Class 1A State Title game.

Farrell finishes the season 15-0 and becomes the first team in school history to win a stare championship undefeated.

The Lions scored their final two touchdowns in the final quarter when the game was in doubt.

Pitt recruit Kyi Wright added a pair of touchdowns as the Steelers scored on all six possessions in the first half to take a 42-7 halftime lead.

After the Steelers fumbled the opening kickoff, the Lions scored less than 1:00 into the game for a 7-0 lead, but after that, it was all Farrell.

The Steelers also won state crowns in 1995 and 1996.
