An inferno in a Youngstown home raged Friday afternoon, catching the home next door on fire.
Shortly after 3 p.m. firefighters were called out to the 300 block of W. Glenaven Ave for reports of a fire.
According to fire officials at the scene, a vacant home had caught fire. A short while later the flames spread to the home next door, which officials say is also vacant.
Fire investigators are looking to see what may have sparked the blaze. There's no word yet on whether arson may be to blame.
Officials say one of the homes was burnt to the foundation.
According to investigators on the scene, the majority of the homes on the street are vacant at this time.
