Remembrances were found Monday morning at the site where a six-year-old child died after being struck by a car in Niles.

The memorial includes a candle, flowers and several plush toys that were left on the sidewalk.

Several more items have been added throughout the day.

Troopers said a coroner's investigators reported that Isaiah Issa died at 3 a.m. Monday at Akron Children's Hospital.

Investigators said the child ran into the road while chasing his dog on State Route 169 (Robbins Avenue) near Higley Avenue around 6:20 p.m. on Sunday.

The road was closed down for two hours while the investigation was being conducted.

No charges have been filed as of yet and the driver was not injured.
