The first ever Levin Furniture showroom in the Youngstown market will open its doors soon.

The company says the 55,000-square-foot store at 300 Boardman-Poland Road will host grand opening events starting Friday, August 31 through September 2.

An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on that Friday where guests can tour the showroom and register for door prizes. The company will also present a $2,500 check to the Akron Children's Hospital Beeghly Campus.

On next Saturday and Sunday, there will be sidewalk activities and a live radio remote with Wes Miller of MIX 98.9.

"We can't wait to open our doors and welcome Youngstown families to Levin Furniture's beautiful new showroom," said Chris Pelcher, executive vice president and general manager of Levin Furniture. "We look forward to becoming immersed and involved in the Boardman community."

Levin says the showroom will carry a variety of name brands such as Flexsteel, La-Z-Boy, and Ashley as well as private collections like Amish Village, West Coast Style and Grand Legacy.
 
The showroom is located in the former Goldsteins Furniture building and will employ 26 associates, many who previously worked at Goldsteins.

Levin Furniture's Hermitage showroom is slated to open late September 2018 and its Niles store is scheduled to open late October 2018.

The company says individuals attending grand opening events at these stores can enter to win a $5,000 Levin Furniture shopping spree.
