Grove City Eagles | Players: 49 | Offensive Starters: 7 | Defensive Starters: 7 | Seniors: 15

The Grove City football team is going after its third straight playoff season.

They've won 21 games over the past couple of seasons and expect more in 2018.

"It's going to be a continuation of what these kids have working for the past couple of years," said fifth-year coach Sam Mowery.

"They're building chemistry and leadership and looking to improve on last year," Mowery said.

They return seven starters on each side of the ball.

"One of our keys is going to be being balanced offensively, " said Mowery. "We have our quarterback Brady Callahan returning along with receivers Logan Lutz, Carter Chinn and Nick Murawski."

In 2017, the Eagles defense held teams to under 10 points.

"At the end, we have Jake Bush, Shawn Woods along with middle linebacker Tyler Green and Seth Davis," Mowery said,

Grove City opens the season against Ft. LeBoeuf.
