NILES, Ohio - Niles police have released a surveillance image they hope will help lead them to the suspects in a deadly home invasion.

Detectives are distributing a picture of a car they believe was in the area of the 1600 Hiram on the night of October 6 when intruders broke into home assaulting Angelo Frasca, and killing his wife, 74-year-old Arlene Frasca.

Investigators have said that they believe the suspects were looking to steal a safe inside the home.

The surveillance shows an unidentified sedan that police are confident contained the suspects.

"We've got some source information some people are talking plus we don't have a suspect, but we feel pretty comfortable that we're headed in that direction of identifying that may have been involved in this,” said Niles Police Detective Jim Robbins.

Police have not disclosed how much money was inside the safe.

Detectives say that interviews have helped them narrow the field of suspects in the case.

They have formally requested help from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Identification.

Detective Robbins would like anyone with information about the crime, or can help identify the car, to call the Niles Police Department at (330) 652-9944.
