The Queen of Hearts jackpot at SkyLane Bowling in Garrettsville is expected to hit a record amount of $2 million dollars for Sunday's drawing.

The state record is $1.8 million and Skylane Bowling's owner Aaron King says that record will be shattered with this coming drawing.  The local Queen of Hearts jackpot record was $1.8 million dollars, set at Barry Dyngles in Austintown last October.

Some 12,000 people showed up Sunday night for the drawing at Skylane.

Only four cards remain on the board in Garrettsville.  While no one walked home a millionaire Sunday night, the 50/50 topped $146,000.  SkyLane Bowling donates half of the 50/50 to a different charity each week.  More than $73,000 was donated Sunday to the Wags 4 Warriors veterans’ service dog charity.

"I cannot even put into words what this means to our organization.  We have so many veterans here in Ohio who need this.  They need a service dog.  It is helping them.  We have placed and trained over 385 dogs in the past five years.  We've helped that many veterans and this money is going to help us double that number," said Jen DeLorenzo with Wags 4 Warriors.

DeLorenzo says there are more than 30 people on a wait list for a dog.

Ticket for the Queen of Hearts drawing will be on sale at SkyLane Bowling from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day and ticket buyers must purchase their tickets in person.

The drawing is scheduled to take place Sunday, September 18 at 6 p.m.

Country artist Chris Higbee will once again put on a concert before the drawing.
