The second day of the Democratic National Convention is underway in Philadelphia, with main focus resting on the big stage tonight.

A roll call vote among all the states' delegates will be taken Tuesday night.

The vote will give the official word that Hillary Clinton is to be the Democratic Party nominee, taking the word "presumptive" from her title.

21 News reporter Leslie Barrett says that most protestors outside of the convention on Tuesday are pro-Sanders, as was the case when the convention opened yesterday.

One other group taking to the streets Tuesday is the DNC Black Resistance.

Barrett says the group feels betrayed by the Democratic Party's promises to the black community.

Another advocacy group, the Mothers of the Movement, are set to take the main stage Tuesday night.

The group includes mothers of black children killed after encounters with police officers, such as the mothers of Michael Brown of Ferguson, Missouri and Eric Garner of New York City.

Tuesday night's programming has not gone without criticism.  Philadelphia's Fraternal Order of Police President says that he was saddened by the decision and felt that relatives of slain officers should also take the stage.

The convention, it must be noted, has not totally ignored the police's perspective.  As Barrett says, the former Philadelphia police commissioner was asked to speak on the main stage tonight.

Former President, and husband of the soon-to-be-official Democratic nominee, Bill Clinton is scheduled to be the convention's final Tuesday night speaker.
