Investigators from the Trumbull County Fire Investigative Unit are looking for the cause of a fire in Southington that gutted a garage and destroyed some vehicles being stored inside.

The fire was reported shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday on the 3900 block of U.S. Route 422.

Firefighters say when they arrived the found flames had spread throughout the garage.

Although two motorcycles and a lawn tractor were destroyed in the blaze, firefighters managed to keep the flames from spreading to two vehicles parked outside the garage.
