Jordan Brown, who was accused at the age of 11 of committing a double homicide in a high profile case in Lawrence County, will temporarily be living in the in Boardman according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
Brown will be living with his father's aunt and uncle until he goes to college according to an article in Sunday's edition written by reporter Karen Kane.
Brown was found delinquent for the shooting murder of 26-year-old Kensie Houk and her unborn baby boy in 2009.
Speaking with 21 News, Kane emphasized the reason the judge refused to let Brown live with his dad upon his release is unknown because the case is sealed. “We know factually he has been released and we have on record from the defense attorney that no one argued against Jordan being released,” said Kane.
She points out that the issue of whether there was sufficient evidence to find Jordan delinquent or guilty of anything in 2012, is back before the Superior Court.
Brown's dad maintains his son is innocent.
Kensie Houk's family believes Jordan should have been tried as an adult not as a juvenile and spent life behind bars.
