Investigators are looking for the cause of a fire that destroyed a barn in Mercer County Monday afternoon.

The fire was reported on an Amish farm shortly before 3:30 pm along Wozniak Road in Lackawannock Township.

When firefighters from New Wilmington arrived, flames had spread throughout the barn.

Departments from four surrounding communities were called in to help battle the blaze.

Other than the damage to the barn, there have been no reports of injury to any livestock.

Investigators say there were no horses in the barn when the fire began.
