Drivers may encounter some heavy equipment working to fill a sinkhole along a street on the west side of Youngstown.

Crews from the city are working on South Schenley Avenue just north of McCollum Road.

The sinkhole wasn't there before a neighbor called the city saying he was concerned that a storm sewer along the road wasn't functioning properly.

When workers began flushing the sewer, that's when the curb and part of the roadway caved-in.
